SACMHF Partners with Mini First Aid for Year 9 Resuscitation Workshop at Aston Manor Academy

SACMHF is proud to announce our partnership with Mini First Aid Birmingham to deliver a vital Resuscitation Workshop for Year 9 students at Aston Manor Academy. Funded by the Resuscitation Council UK, provided young people with essential life-saving skills that could make all the difference in an emergency situation.

The collaboration between SACMHF, Mini First Aid, and Aston Manor Academy reflects our shared dedication to improving health and safety education within underprivileged communities. With the help of Mini First Aid’s expert facilitator, the students learned crucial resuscitation techniques, equipping them with the confidence and knowledge to act quickly in emergencies.

”I am incredibly grateful to the Resuscitation Council UK for their invaluable resources and guidance, which have helped us bring this vital training to our community. Empowering young people with life-saving skills like resuscitation is a crucial step toward building a safer future for everyone. A special thanks to Aston Manor Academy for hosting us and to Mini First Aid Birmingham for their continued partnership in making this initiative a success.” – Business Development Manager.

Why Resuscitation Training is Important

In underprivileged communities, timely medical assistance can often be delayed, which increases the need for individuals to be prepared to step in and help. By teaching Year 9 students the basics of resuscitation, we are not only providing them with a life-long skill but also helping to build a safer, more prepared community. Evidence shows that when more individuals in a community are trained in basic first aid, the chances of survival in critical situations improve significantly.

This workshop is part of our broader initiative to reduce health disparities and empower young people to play an active role in safeguarding the well-being of their families and communities.

We would like to extend our sincere thanks to Aston Manor Academy for hosting this valuable workshop and to Mini First Aid Birmingham for their continued support in bringing this crucial training to our local youth.

SACMHF remains committed to fostering meaningful partnerships and providing more opportunities like this to benefit young people across our communities. Stay tuned for more updates on future workshops and training sessions!
