Marcia Wilson has worked studiously for Sandwell council for 26 years within the community engagement team as a commissioner. During the early years she worked with young people with learning difficulties in a voluntary capacity. She worked voluntarily during the school holidays teaching drama and arts to young people and with community groups. During this time Marcia ran her own business, which was a public house, The Fox & Dogs, in West Bromwich which served to hone her business acumen and developed relationships with the local business community.

Pat achieved a BSc (hons) Psychology degree which supported many varied roles working in the mental health field in the third sector. Pat has worked for a range of local and National charities. Pat was able to hone her work competencies by working in a hostel, day centre and training and employment services her roles increasing in responsibility culminating in her current role with SACMHF. Within SACMHF Pat commenced a programme of change and transformation to work towards securing a sustainable future for the charity. Pat completed her MBA whilst in this role which served to provide the academic underpinning to support business development activities.

Pat has supported other local and national organisations too and has been a small business adviser for the Foundations for Social Improvement’s business advice hub, is currently a board member of the Healthwatch Sandwell and an Investment committee member for the Social Investment business.

Richard is a highly motivated marketing professional with over 20 years’ experience of financial services who currently employed by Lloyd’s banking group. Richards work competencies and expertise have included a wide range of fields including brand, marketing strategy and delivery, B2B & B2C, media, managing people, stakeholder management, budget management, consultancy in several Fintech start-ups.

Bobby has led in operational and strategic leadership roles in Nursing and Education within the NHS and independent sectors over the past 15 years and currently works in education as a lecturer at the University of Wolverhampton, lecturing in leadership and healthcare. Other roles previously held by Bobby has included placement capacity development lead to enhance student education and experience. Bobby’s key areas of expertise are strategic policy, operational alignment, engagement, and team working for organisation success.
