Shane has worked within Sandwell since 1990. He spent 5 years as a Health Promotion Officer with Sandwell Health Authority and 14 years initially as manager, now Chief Executive for the West Bromwich African Caribbean Resource Centre.
Shane is a founder member of the Sandwell African Forum which became Sandwell African Caribbean Mental Health Foundation.
Finally, Shane has worked as an Associate Manager with Black Country Mental Health Trust and is also a member of Sandwell Community Health Council.

It was after completing an Honours degree in Psychology from Middlesex University that Patricia commenced her career in mental health. Pat worked her way up the career ladder via a number of third sector organisation which include MIND in Birmingham and RETHINK.
Patricia came to SACMHF in 2002. Pat is committed to ensuring that SACMHF becomes known for quality of service, value for money and a holistic and bespoke approach to the recovery of African and Caribbean people.
Marcia Wilson has worked studiously for Sandwell council for 26 years. During the early years she worked with young people with learning difficulties in a voluntary capacity. She worked voluntarily during the school holidays teaching drama and arts to young people and with community groups. During this time Marcia ran her own business, which was a public house, The Fox & Dogs, in West Bromwich which served to hone her business acumen. Marcia excelled in her work with community groups, events management and work with vulnerable adults of course including mental ill health.
Marcia has excelled in her work with a diverse range of community groups, events management and work with vulnerable adults, of course including work with people recovering from mental ill health. Marcia has lived all of her life in Sandwell and has dedicated her working life to Health and Social Care.
Marcia holds a Management (FdSc) qualification acquired from Birmingham City University. Marcia successfully completed a Leadership programme which lends itself well to becoming a member of SACMHF’s board. Marcia is looking to complete her Masters degree in Youth & Community Development with University College Birmingham.
